On a 216-acre retreat center in North Georgia, we guided an ecological restoration and master plan—addressing erosion, site circulation, and ADA access—while weaving in native plantings, orchards, herb and kitchen gardens, an essential oil garden, and seven miles of trails.
At Monday Night Brewing’s BeltLine-adjacent Garage, we designed a one-acre orchard and ecologically-minded gathering space, where seasonal fruits and useful plants support pollinators, restore soil, and even contribute ambient yeast for the brewery’s signature sour beers.
This commercial studio balances multifunctional gathering spaces with ecological design, protecting a heritage oak through guided paths, managing water with permeable surfaces, and enlivening the streetscape with native perennials and fruiting serviceberries.
On 160 acres along Costa Rica’s Nicoya Peninsula, we designed a multi-phase residential farming development with orchards, animal systems, nurseries, and farm-to-table landscapes, supported by an off-grid gravity-fed water system and amenities from restaurants to a yoga shala.
In conjunction with a civil engineer and a world-renowned architect, we designed an off-grid gravity-fed water system to seasonally distribute the rainwater and generate enough water to sustain irrigation throughout the dry season. In this part of the world, they have 10 feet of rain in 5-months, and 7-months of zero precipitation. The challenge was figuring out how to economically harvest the rainwater in decentralized locations in order to feed the landscape when there is little rainfall. We addressed this through extensive foundation cisterns designed into the buildings, which over flow through a series of earthworks and ponds, creating wetlands and building soil.

This 1-acre Clarkston development of eight tiny homes and a community building integrates affordable housing with shared gardens, edible and medicinal landscapes, and native plantings that support pollinators, songbirds, and community life.
At Mercedes-Benz Stadium, we created a series of eco-friendly outdoor spaces designed to combine function, beauty, and sustainability. Our team installed custom pergolas and welcoming hangout areas in the VIP section, integrating natural materials and thoughtful design. Walkways were constructed to connect the spaces seamlessly, bordered with edible gardens that highlight the connection between people and place.
